Primrose-flowered vitaliana is a mat forming rock garden plant with needle-like leaves and yellow flowers, given the right conditions. It didn't flower much in my garden, maybe it needed more lime in the soil. The soil also needs to be very well drained as it's sensitive to wet winter conditions.
