Round-leaved penny-cress is a spring flowering rock garden plant that starts into flower in April or even March in mild years. While in flower it is smothered with small lilac flowers. It is native to the Alps where it grows in screes, often in lime-stone. Thus it needs gritty, well drained soil in full sun to thrive. Given those conditions it is quite hardy.
