Glossy scabious is a medium sized perennial, about 30-40 cm in height that grows best in well drained soil and full sun. It flowers from July - Augst, lilac-pink or lavender flowers. I had a plant in each colour, but lost the lilac-pink one, which is a shame because it was a really nice colour. Given the right conditions it's fairly hardy.
