An extremely attractive perennial with lime green foliage and blue-violet flowers with white markings, borne on violet coloured flower stalks. It is fairly hardy, but said to be short lived. Mine was at least five years old when I moved gardens and lost it along the way. It needs sun or partial shade and fertile, well drained, moist soil.
