'Douglas Prize Mix' is a seed mixture of garden auriculas in mixed colours. I grew mine from seed from Thompson & Morgan and got a few very nice plants. They have grown well for years. They need well drained soil and plenty of sun. If the soil is too dense, the freeze-thaw cycles of winter have a tendency to lift the roots out of the soil, so it's often neccessary to push them back into the soil come spring.
