A seed variety from Thompson & Morgan of polyantha primrose that is supposedly more hardy than most other polyantha varieties. That is true, they proved hardier than the polyanthas for sale in the garden centers, but still not hardy enough. I got a few plants in a variety of colors, pink, yellow and red. Three survived the first winter, and two hung on for a few more years. The photo is from 2012 of the plant that survived the longest and with most vigour. They need very good growing conditions, plenty of sun and fertile, well drained soil.
