Crandall's beardtounge is a mat forming alpine with blue flowers, native to the Rocky Mountains. I had it for a few years, where it grew quite well in a rock wall. It needs full sun and sharp drainage to have a chance of survival here. With the wet winters here in S-Iceland, it needs to grow on a slope so the water runs off. A stunning plant.
