Sorrel is a mat forming perennial with finely divided, gray-green foliage and fairly large, light pink flowers with a greenish-yellow center. The flowers only open in sunshine so it needs to be planted in a sunny location. It needs well drained soil, it's good to mix fine pumice or gravel in the soil. Hardy and floriferous.
