There are few flowers with such sky blue flowers as the Himalayan blue poppy. It's one of the few plants that actually grow better in the cool Icelandic summers, than in warmer climates, as it dislikes heat and dry conditions. It grows best in partial shade, in fertile, slightly acidic soil.
