Tweedy's lewisia has large, peach flowers that are much larger than on other species in this genus. It is about 10 cm tall, but very showy when in flower. It is tender, it does not tolerate wet soil, so it's very difficult to get it through the wet winters here in S-Iceland. The best bet, aside from growing it under glass, is to grow it on a steep slope, so the water runs off.
