'Variegatum' is a variety of yellow archangel that is a shade tolerant ground cover. It spreads with overground runners that can be more than a meter in lenght. Where they are rooted a new plant grows. The flower stalks are aroudn 20 cm in height and the flowers are light yellow. This is a good groundcover in a shrub border, it is too vigorous for a perennial border where it can grow over neighboring plants. Hardy, shade tolerant and not fussy about soil type.
