Streambank wild hollyhock is a tall perennial native to streambanks in western N-America. I grew it from seed and it didn't last long. It flowered once but died the following winter. Needs fertile, well drained, moist soil in full sun.
When growing this plant from seed, the seed must be boiled for 2 min. for it to germinate well. Then it needs a cold spell for at least 1 month before germinating.
