'Berry Marmalade' is a pretty variety of coral bells with nicely patterned leaves. They have a silvery sheen with burgundy veins that turn dark green as the leaves age. Very pretty, but unfortunately it didn't live long. The plant was probably damaged when I bought it, the stem rotted. It only lived a few weeks after I bought it. These coral bells hybrids need very good drainage and humus-rich, fertile soil and can not tolerate wet, dense soil. Then they don't live long.
