'Alba' is a variety of dame's violet with white flowers with a green center. It is fairly hardy, but not as vigorous as the species and doesn't self seed much. It needs more sun and richer soil. It crosses easily with the species and I've gotten a few self seeded crosses with pale lilac flowers.
