A variety of dog's tooth violet with nodding, pale yellow flowers in May. The leaves are broad, glossy and green with bronze marking along the edges. It grows best in partial shade in fertile, humus-rich soil. It is the largest of the Erythroniums I've grown, around 30 cm in height. I've had it for many years and it flowers annually.
