Rock heronsbill is a beautiful alpine, that unfortunately dislikes wet winters so it struggles here in the south at least. It survived a few years in a rock wall in my old garden, but died when I moved as I didn't have a suitable site for it here in my new garden. It needs full sun and gritty, well drained soil where water runs off.
