I've called this variety of border delphinium 'Afi', because it's a cutting from a plant that originally grew in my grandfather's garden. It's origin and name are a mystery. It is very tall, over 2 m in height, so it needs quite a bit of staking to keep it upright. The flowers are sky blue with a black bee (center) in dense clusters.
