'Alba' is a variety of harebell with pure white flowers. It is very delicate and although it does tolerate some shade, care must be given that it won't be overrun by larger plants. Unfortunately that's what happened to my plant. It is prettier and more compact in poor soil, although it can tolerate average garden soil.
