'McKana's Giants' is a group of hybrids that originated around 1950, with large, bicoloured flowers in a great variety of colours. The spurs are long and straight. I have childhood memories of these plants growing in my grandfather's garden. In my mind they were the most beautiful flowers in the world. The plants are tall and need support. They grow best in sun or partial-shade, in well-drained, fertile soil. Hardy.
