Sweet-scented columbine or fragrant columbine is a stunning columbine species with white and pale yellow, drooping flowers that resemble Chinese lanterns. It is a fairly tall plant and might need support, although I think mine hasn't required staking. It is fairly shade tolerant, but grows best in sun or partial shade in well-drained, fertile and evenly moist soil. A very hardy plant.
