'Major' is a lovely variety of cut-leaved windflower that taller then the species with larger flowers. The flowers are cream coloured, brushed with violet on the reverses of the petals. It is quite hardy. It grows best in fertile, well-drained soil in sun or partial shade, but it can tolerate more shade and heavier soil.
