This subspecies of rock jasmine bears pink flowers around the same time as the species flowers. The flowers are larger than on the species, so it's quite stunning while in flower. It needs good drainage and plenty of sun. Where winters are more wet than snowy, like here in SW-Iceland, it grows best on a steep incline, like a rock wall.
