Mountain lover is very conspicuous in flower, with it's round clusters of large, fuchsia coloured flowers. It is very hardy and undemanding. The only drawback is that the flower stalks are weak and flop over and the leaves wither during flowering which gives it a slightly disheveled look. After flowering there's a bare spot that needs filling with neighboring plants.
