I got seed from this plant as a bonus one time with an order from Thompson & Morgan. I think I only got one plant that produced at least one flower stalk, but died the first winter. Unfortunately I only took this one photo of the plant. It is native to the planes of N-America north to Canada, so it should be quite hardy, but for some reason it didn't live here. It might need warmer summers. Members of the Agastache genus are popular garden plants in warmer climates because they attract bees and butterflies. The leaves and flowers of this particular species have an anise scent.
